Captain Andy Ross - Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Andy Ross is a Captain with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, where he currently is assigned as the Deputy Commander of a patrol district. He is the senior ethics instructor for the Florida RCPI and has taught ethics, leadership and community policing courses since 1998. Andy has taught extensively throughout the State of Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He also serves on the Municipal Code Enforcement Board for the City of Temple Terrace and is the Director of Adult Religious Education at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa. Captain Ross has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and a Master’s Degree in Theology, both from St. Leo University. He also is a graduate of the 122nd session of the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville. Andy lives in Temple Terrace with his wife and three children.
