CAMPUS AND STUDENT SAFETY IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM

The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida and the Center for Public Safety Innovation at St. Petersburg College are pleased to announce that the Project Safe Neighborhoods Violent Gang and Gun Crime Reduction Program will conduct a one day class on Campus and Student Safety in the New Millennium. There are no fees or costs to attend the training.

This tuition-free eight-hour course is designed to provide real-time comprehensive training for first responders, educators, and individuals responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment at K-12 and university campuses. The instructor will facilitate participatory discussions on the topics of gangs, weapons on campus, active-shooter incidents, social media, new technology, and security/safety strategies that are considered "best practices" in the field of campus safety.
