Puerto Rico Training Initiative at COPS Office Dr. Ernesto Fernandez, Director of the Puerto Rico Training Initiative (PRTI), attended a meeting with the COPS Office on June 30, 2010 to discuss the success of the PRTI, continued funding for community policing training and technical assistance, and expansion of current programs and activities in Puerto Rico. Dr. Fernandez met with Mr. Bernard Melekian, COPS Office Director, Dr. Sandra Webb, Assistant Director and Mr. Peter Borges, Grants Coordinator.
